Physical description

A slim rectangular brown toned softcover booklet with Guernsey printed in black lettering at the top of the front cover and Price 6d. net printed in white lettering at the bottom right. The front and back covers depict a large overall scene of Guernsey from the land looking over the water. The Bailiwick of Guernsey: (The Islands of Guernsey, Alderney and Sark) is printed on the title page with a sepia coloured photograph of the reception of their majesties the King and Queen, and Princess Mary on the occasion of their visit, July11, 1921. There are many black and white photographs throughout the booklet. It has brown thin cord tied on the spine. 24p.

Taped on the left endpaper at the front is a sheet of paper with the following business names, address and date of gift typed in black and purple ink: 'Martel & Le Palley, Advocates. J.E.L.
