Dog tags used for identification of soldier if killed or injured. Tied around neck and one taken off the body and other left on body. Belongs to a J.M. Foley V246507 (V346507?) although number not found in nominal roll.
Physical description
Metallic silver discs x 2 with identification of the soldier imprinted on them, tied onto a long piece of white string.
Inscriptions & markings
Imprinted on discs; "Foley J.M." & "V246507" and "RC" in centre. On other side is imprinted "04".
