St Matthew's celebrated it Silver Jubilee in September 1927 with Church Services and social gatherings, a concert, a social and a dance.
St Matthew's Church of England was erected in Cheltenham beside the Nepean Highway near Charman Road. The early settlers established a tennis club, cricket team and social groups.
Significance
