On the 6th of March 2021, the Melbourne-based band Shantily Clad launched their album in the Mission to Seafarers.
There was a wave of popularity of the sea shanty during the Covid pandemic especially on the social media application TikTok.
Significance
The Mission has always been open to the community and has a tradition of hosting cultural events: shows, concerts, exhibitions, festivals.
