Early residents of Ballarat were invited by the Mayor to a reunion to recall memories of Ballarat's early days.
There is R. Kerr's recollection of Ballarat's first water supply coming from Lake Wendouree and, in 1868, the Lake was dry. These are interesting historical events given the more recent millennial drought.
