The School of Mines Printing Class produced a collection of specimen pages by students attending the classes. The classes were held every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock. The Instructor was A E Dorling of Howard Street Ballarat. The classes were assisted by various associations and firms - The Association of Wholesale Paper Merchants, The Association of Printers Furnishers of Victoria, Ballarat Sub-Branch of P.I.E.U. of Australia, Ballarat Master Printers' Association, Alex Cowan & Sons, Ltd, F T Wimble & Co, Ltd, and Carmichael & Co. Pty. Ltd.
