Historical information

The three people were attending a school camp run attended by students, teachers and parents from Bulla and Mickleham Primary Schools. One of the activities the places the campers visited was a fish hatchery in the Beechworth area. Gail Page with her mother Lee and teacher, Carol Hitchens are standing beside one of the ponds at the hatchery.

Significance

School camps provide students with many interesting extracurricular activities and wider learning experiences in a more relaxed environment beyond the classroom.
