Annual report of the Association for the Advancement of the Blind outlined activities and events over the year, including 240 members, decision to establish a home for the indigent blind, 800 visits have been paid to people in their homes, more than 90 pounds has been lent to members in distress, provision has been made in the new Electoral Bill for the Blind to record their votes and the loss of Mr Norris from Mackay, who had become of the first members of the Braille Correspondence Club and contributed articles to magazines.
