Pte George Maddams was in the 67th (Bendigo) Inf Bn Militia.

Physical description

1. Full length, black and white, portrait of a standing soldier. Taken in a studio. He is not armed and not wearing a hat.
2. Group portrait of a large body of marching troops. They are on a road beside telegraph poles and wires. An officer is marching in front of the troop. They are armed with what appears to be Long Lee Enfield rifles.

Inscriptions & markings

1. On Rear - Pte G. Maddams
2. Fully written in pencil - addressed to Dear Linda. It describes the soldiers as going for a Guard review etc.
