Kenneth Douglas Ingram was a motor mechanic. He ran a Shell garage at Research, Victoria on the original line of Main Road, situated next to the Research Public Hall. When his parents moved to Anglesea, he established the Ocean Road Service Station (affiliated with Mobil Oil) in Anglesea with his own tow truck.
