International House held their tenth anniversary Commemoration Dinner on 30th June, 1967, attended by approximately 300 guests, including Lady and Lord Casey (then the Governor-General). The Caseys presented the House with "a pair of valuable silver candlesticks" to celebrate, having been associated with the House since its establishment. Also in attendance were esteemed guests such as the High Commissioner for Singapore and the Ambassador for Indonesia, indicating the growing prominence of International House as an institution of note in Australia.
