HEATON & SONS, BIRMINGHAM WERE EMPLOYED TO STRIKE THE EXTENSIVE TOKEN ISSUES. THE IRONMONGERY STORE IN MOORABOOL STREET, GEELONG WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1844 BY RICHARD PARKER. PARKER WENT ON TO ESTABLISH STORE IN CLUNES, BACK CREEK (TALBOT), FIREY CREEK AND ARARAT. HE ISSUED AT LEAST TEN VARIETIES OF TOKENS, ALL WITH THE SAME INSCRIPTION AND FIGURE ON THE FACES, BUT WITH SLIGHT VARIATIONS
