Cash and Cheque deposit book Australian and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd used by the Bendigo RSL Womens Auxiliary. The first entry is on 6.11.1975 for $389.30 being for cards, catering and a donation. The last is 2.12.1977 for $51.00 being for a donation.
Deposit book blue covers ANZ Banking Group, all print in black, entries are blue, all pages left are duplicate carbon copies, there are a number of blue credit slips pinned to pages, the blue carbon paper at the end of the book are gone, pages are stamped in a red ANZ stamp.

Bendigo RSL Womens Auxiliary, page headings hand written are either, Income, Expenditure or Receipts. first entry is February 1959 the last December 1965. The loose sheets are Receipts & Expenditure for a year ending in December. First entry for year 1962, 2nd 1963, 3rd 1964, 4th 1965. Three years are missing.
Account book, cardboard covers, front cover is a faded mottled red and white the rear near as new, front has a piece of paper with type in red and hand written in blue, pages are blue ruled lines with vertical red and blue lines. Entries are in blue pen, 4 loose typed in black sheets are placed through out the book.

These Certificates recognized the work of Miss F. Hutchinson (Florence)and Miss D Hutchinson (Dolly) in reaching 10 years of Volunteer work for the Eaglehawk RSL Ladies Auxiliary dated 21.5.1960. It appears that there has been a misprint as "Miss D" was actually Hanna, Dolly being known as is Florence's sister. Refer Cat No 8211 re Hanna. Refer Cat No 8200P for photos of both.

This certificate was awarded by the Eaglehawk RSL Sub Branch to Miss H. Hutchinson (Hanna) on 17.5.1946 in Appreciation and loyalty to Service personnel as a Member of the Eaglehawk Ladies Auxiliary during the War years. The Auxiliaries efforts abled the furnishing of the Club rooms and raise 230.00 Pounds for the Returned Soldiers Distress Fund. Hanna was awarded the BEM (British Empire Medal in 1978 Refer Cat No 8212.2 for her Sister Florence and Photo Cat No 8200P.

This is a collection of four photographs taken in the 1960s of Royal Australian Survey Corps displays promoting its role and technical capability to acquire, process and disseminate topographic information to the Australian Defence Force. Map products formed a large part of this topographic Support. The photos may have been taken at a Careers Expo or a Department of Defence promotion. It is possible the photos were taken at separate events.

This is a set of 12 photographs of A Section, 1st Topographic Survey Troop taken from the 25th of May to the 12th of June 1966 during their deployment to Vung Tau, Vietnam. Led by OC CAPT Bob Skitch, the ten personnel from A Section 1st Topo Svy Tp and six personnel from supporting units were the first contingent from the Royal Australian Survey Corps deployed to provide topographic support to the Australian Task Force in Vietnam. They arrived in Saigon, Vietnam on the 10th of June 1966 enroute to the Australian Reinforcement Unit (ARU) “back beach” camp in Vung Tau. The ten RA Svy technical personnel from 1st Topo Svy Tp deployed were: WO2 David Christie, SGT Stan Campbell, SGT Dave King, CPL Jim Roberts, CPL Dennis Duquemin, CPL Des Ceruti, SPR Derek Chambers, SPR Brian Firns, SPR Joe O’Connor and SPR Ron Smith. External personnel deployed were: WO2 Snow Rollston from Northern Command Field Survey Unit, T/CPL Peter Clarke – orderly room corporal, T/CPL Alan Carew – Technical Storeman, SPR Stan Johns – Map Storeman, SPR Boots Campbell – batman/driver and PTE BNF Brunning – cook. The ship featured in photos .1P and .2P was the aircraft carrier HMAS Sydney on its 4th voyage to Vietnam. On board were SGT Stan Campbell and SPR Brian Firns, tasked to manage A Section’s stores and equipment. The rest of A Section deployed to Vietnam by air on the chartered Qantas 707B ‘City of Longreach'. A Section’s main tasks were to establish a Theatre Grid, map compilation and map revision; Engineer Survey Support in the camp and to the civil community; give assistance to the Cordon Search Missions by producing large scale plots from aerial photos with every house and fence etc plotted; and then reproduce these by silk screening usually, within a 24-hour period. RA Svy’s support concluded with the withdrawal of Australian troops from Vietnam in 1972. 1. This is a black woollen jacket. It has 4 front pockets. It has Sgt's stripes on arm (Gold). It has RA Inf buttons. On the collars are another pattern RA Inf button - Kings Crown. Shiled design surrounded with oak leaves. Crossed rifles in centre of shield. It has six ribbons - see below. 2. Trousers - black wool. red stripe on legs. Fly is held shut with buttons, black. Two side pockets - One rear pocket. 3. Shirt - off white - civilian. 4. Belt - black wool, brass buckle. 5. Tie - black, purple liner.
Jacket - Inside has written - 3/2729 J.D. Powell. Trousers - Jorgenson R/5.

This is a military, very cold environment jacket. Suspect Korean War vintage, possibly British or Aust. made.
1. This is a green jacket, 100% lined with fur. It has a raised fur lined neck. It has two pockets on lower front. The pockets have an inner neck (5 cms). Pockets held shut with buttons. The front is held shut with a metal zip and big buttons. The buttons are 28mm diameter, light brown. The wrists have draw straps to seal out cold. Ref: The lining inside:- Rear section fully sewn in, in the two front panels, the bottom edges are not sewn in. 2. Scarf. Woollen, Khaki, thick.
Written on front left jacket chest is name - PEARSE.

1. Jacket - woollen, black. Lt Col Rank Badges, gold, on epaulettes. Rising Sun badges on collars. Aust Commonwealth Military Forces. Four pockets. Four gold centre buttons. Top two pockets held shut with a gold button. 2. Trousers, woollen, black with red vertical stripe on sides. Pockets - 1 coin, 2 hip, 1 rear. Fly held shut four black buttons. 3. Shirt (ex) white short sleeved. 1 button missing. E... its cotton pocket. 4. Belt, Woollen black. Brass buckle. Two mini straps on inside of belt. 5. Tie, black, cotton. 6. Ribbon bar WW2 (2 medals). 7. Hat peaked black. Formal wear. Gold braid on brim. Red band and red piping. Rising Sun Badge. Aust Comm Military Forces.
On trousers, written on two pockets is name: Seymour. Hat has a ticket inside. Lt. Col. E.P. Seymour.

There are 57 names on the Church Roll, only 22 have photos with their details. The Author is Larna Malone. She also published the Book, "The First Lot". The first men to enlist in Bendigo WW1. Refer Cat No 4798
