Physical description

.1) Khaki battle dress jacket with button-front and attached belt and buckle. Royal Australian Army Service Corps badges on each shoulder. Captain's cloth pips on each epaulette. Two button-down breast pockets. Buttons are made of bakelite.
.2) Pair khaki battle dress trousers with button fly. Two side pockets, two hip pockets with button-down flaps. Large button-down pocket on left thigh. Adjustable waist straps on each side of the waist band. Adjustable straps on each cuff. Buttons are brown bakelite.

Inscriptions & markings

.1) On label inside: 'M. TX, SIZE 7'.
.2) On name patch inside waist band: 'Herdman'. On smaller patch on waist band: 'M. TX, SIZE 7'.
