Significance
A colour photograph of a sign showing the mythical "Gunni" (pronounced goon-eye) from Marysville in Victoria. A mythical creature believed to exist in the Central Highlands in the 1860s. There were unsubstantiated sightings in the late 1990s and a representative animal was created and displayed at the Marysville Visitor Information Centre. The Visitor Information Centre was destroyed in the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires.
