The AIF News was issued by the Army Canteen Services, free to Australian Troops during WW2. It contains Military News and a mix of cartoons, crosswords and letters similar to home newspaper. Aim to keep troops informed and increase morale. magazine often sent home to family.

Physical description
1-11. Tabloid size newspaper. Faded white to yellow in colour. Usually about 16-18 pages in content with black and white photos, black writing and some highlighting in red covering May 1942 to Jan 1943.
12. Is smaller magazine supplement issued Christmas 1942 mainly pictorial in black and white and red covering photos of Egypt, Palestine and Syria.
