Copy of an talk given by Alfred Mellor to the Canterbury History Group in February 1994. He tells the story of the Laycock family who purchased Frognall in 1901 and continued to live there until 1941. He describes the house, garden and family customs including visiting his grandparents for afternoon tea on Sundays.
