Historical information

Written on the back of the poster -"The artist is Betty Barberis nee Barton daughter of Roderick Barton and Myrtle Hore(?) of Gundowring born 1927. She illustrated Esther Temple's book 'The History of the Kiewa Valley'.
The subject Sunda Singh was I believe a well known traveling salesman in early Kiewa Valley..
A Sundah Singh is recorded as dying 1948 in Henty.
Sunda Singh (I think this must be) died 1933 in Beechworth and was later exhumed and cremated."
