Paper receipt dated March 21st 1928. W. A. Jarrett Funerals for expenses for the funeral of Mrs E Vivian. Sum of twenty five pounds and three shillings. The top lefthand corner is missing. It seems that this has been cut out. The bottom lefthand corner has a stamp which is dated and initialled (21/3/28). Signed William A Jarrett. The receipt is in type with the details handwritten.

The tale expands to the California gold fields where the double and her captor are eventually discovered.
