Souvenir - Demi-John, 1984

Made to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Portland. The word demijohn is French and is used to describe any large, narrow-necked bottle used to hold liquid. Antique or vintage demijohns are from Europe and were most often used to transport or store wine.
