Historical information
William Rosevear was born around 1848 and in 1869, he married Margaret Morrison. He was a bootmaker at Condah for forty years. William enjoyed cricket and football and was a longtime goal umpire for the Condah football team.
Significance
William Rosevear was the coxswain for the Portland Lifeboat and assisted in the rescue of survivors from the wreck of the Admella
