Watch worn by Ben Roachfort, passenger on the 'Admella', survived wreck of 'Admella' in 1859.

Physical description

Brass watch with ivory face, in a hallmarked sterling silver pair case.
Hallmarks: Assay mark - Lion passant - Sterling silver. 925 purity.
Town mark - London (uncrowned leopard's head). Date mark - 1832-1833. Makers mark - HD (unknown silversmith) Pocket watch measures diameter 5 cm x depth 1.7cm
