Historical information

Leadcourt Homestead was built about 1868 by Mr. John Holt. Stone was transported from Mr Difficult. The Governor was entertained here in 1868 when he opened the Stawell Railway Station. One Sectionof the gable wing contained a bath large enough to swim in.
