Historical information

Originally an SEC town built for workers on the Kiewa Hydro Electric Scheme. It became a tourist centre from the 1960s.

Significance

Examples made to increase tourism with historical photos, historical items no longer used or sought after. Items such as these are a different way of advertising to on-line methods used today
