Honour Board - QUARRY HILL METHODIST CHURCH HONOR ROLL, c1919-1925

Physical description

This is a large hardwood honour board. The top edge is curved, under which is the title. Under the title is a painted, coloured Australian Coat of Arms. Kangaroo and Emu. Under that is a shelf. Under that are the words "Roll of Honor". The main part has names. There are two columns, divided by a vertical piece of hardwood. All the wording is in gold paint. At the bottom is a small ledge, under that is the legend to understand the symbols.
The names are on varnished plywood. The left column has 20 names. The right column has 15 names. Six are shown as died. Thirteen as wounded. The bottom just has curved decorative base.
