Taylor Baptist Minister ' he is trustworthy, honest, able and upright'; United Friendly Societies Dispensary 'was employed by us at the Bendigo Dispensary for some years as boy and general messenger'; Albert Blackwell, Minister ' he was strictly upright, honourable and reliable .... an unblemished character,; The Bendigo Independent, Williamson Street, Bendigo ' excellent character... trustworthy' and Fred P. Morris, he is 'full of energy, has a good address and would make an ideal Secretary of any public body'.
