The abacus was used at primary school to assist children with mathematics. It had the advantage of being visual and tactile.
Used at Bogong Primary School.
Grey plastic frame with 10 horizontal rods each holding 10 beads. The beads are red and black with each colour increasing or decreasing in number to show the sum of ten.
