Sole manufacturer ef. "Kruschen": Evan Griffiths Hughes, chemists of County of Lancashire, England. Keuschen Salts was an electrolyte replenisher to prevent heat cramps caused by too much sweating.
Used by a resident of te Kiewa Valley.

Lid: "Kruschen" stamped inside a circle on the tin. Base also has 'Kruschen' in raised lettering.
