Historical information

The Yackandandah and District Historical Society decided to write up a history of the school which had begun as a Church of England School from 1855 to 1872 before the commencement of the current primary school.

Significance

The early history of the school is relevant to the Kiewa Valley as it was the closest school at the time.and existed before "Education is to be secular, compulsory until the age of 15, free in basic subjects"

Physical description

Small booklet with 39 pages held by two staples. The cardboard cover is light green with the dates in dark green and the title and authors in red. No pictures. No contents or index.
