View of a single storeyed brick cottage located in Wattle Park, influenced by the work of Sir Edwin Lutyens, with clinker brick dressings, rubble stone plinth, steeply pitched slate roof and symmetrical front facade having a recessed round arched porch. Roofs sweep down to window head height. It is used as the curator's cottage. See Heritage Study Vol 2. p 66-67
