A group of women seated in the Main Hall of Box Hill Town Hall. Seated in Centre front row (L to R) : Town Clerk Mr. Andrew N. Walls in his robes, and right, Cr. J.K. Proudfoot in his mayoral robes and right Mayoress, Mrs Ida Proudfoot and Margaret Walls. The occasion was the Lady Mayoress's Reception in 1957, the City of Box Hill Centenary Year.
