Box Hill Town Hall facade taken at night. As well as external lighting there is an illuminated sign "CITY OF BOX HILL" above the portico. To one side of the portico is a Vauxhall car, c. late 1940s. It is thought that the lights above the portico were erected to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the City 1952. Time capsule buried and Foundation Stone laid, August 1934.
