Historical information

1. The Good Friday Appeal is held annually in Victoria with proceeds being raised for the Royal Children's Hospital.
2. Yamaha, a Japanese Company, encouraged Australian businesses to use their products. In this case the Snowmobile.

Significance

The Kiewa Valley took part in the Good Friday Appeal and Yamahs snowmobiles were used at Falls Creek.

Physical description

1. Blue metal plaque with holes in each corner and pale blue print informing details of Award . There is a thin gold line around the circumference.
2. Gold metal plaque with holes in each corner and black print informing details of the award.
