Stained timber noticeboard which is shaped at the top with a hole in it for hanging. It has a slot for notices to be changed. The typed duty roster in it is for December 1986.

These finials were probably on the hall of St Andrew's Presbyterian church Ballarat and saved by the Rev Gary Douglas Jacobs when it was demolished. The hall was rebuilt in 1938-1959.

"Brown's self interpreting Bible with numerous notes by the Rev Henry Cooke, DD, LLD. Reedited with additions by the Rev J L Porter DD" Editors preface dated 1873. Mary Hannah William Thomas married John Thomas at Sebastopol Congregation Church. John Brown (1722-1787) was a Scottish weaver who became a Presbyterian minister. Although self-educated, he prepared an annotated Bible, Bible dictionary and concordance, and a metrical version of the Psalms. The case is lined with navy blue grosgrain fabric and has a small leather label in the lid. Secured in the lid with leather straps is a round silver box, G073.10, with an etched lid, G073.11. G073.12 Silver cylindrical flask with an etched design on the front with G073.13 silver screw top, cork lined, lid. G073.14 Circular white lace mat in a separate section of the box. G073.15 Stained and varnished wooden stand to hold 12 glasses. G073.1 has a name stamped between the handles and a dedication inside.

This President's chair was presented to the Victorian and Tasmanian Conference in 1932 by Mr Fred J Cato.

Dark hardwood ornately carved high backed chair with two arm rests. The chair includes two worn leather cushions on the bottom and the back. There is a small metal plaque at the back with the manufacture's details.

Octagonal varnished wood font with a fitted lid. The lid has a large brass knob on the top secured by three screws and the front a small brass plate on one side. Each of the other seven sides have carved two carved leaves. The font is on one single turned wood leg which sits on an octagonal base. The inside of the font contains a copper bowl. There is a support for the bowl which must be a later handmade addition to the font as it is made of plywood. The manufacturers name is on the inside of the lid.

The MGC's motto was "The Utmost for the Highest".
