Historical information
It was on the cnr of Barkes Ave and Gray Street Lakes Entrance and relocated to make way for the RSL carpark 1980c. Also known as Caesars Ghost and Blue Lodge, In the 1960's it was converted into several flats with a small caravan park at the rear.
Significance
It was the home of Alf Palmer, who was the Lakes Entrance Fish Agent. The Lakes Entrance Fish Agent was the towns most important occupation. There has only been three agents. [ Alf, his son Jack and Charlie Hancock, Snr. ] I would say Palmers operated part of the building as a guest house. The Cole family operated Caesars Ghost, Mc Gregor family Blue Lodge.
