Article, Bendigo Advertiser 16th October 1970, on speech given by Professor Brian Lewis, lecturer in architecture, Melbourne University when addressing the Rotary Club of South Bendigo.
He believed that ' Bendigo with its genuine gold history and availability of gold mining equipment was ideally situated to deveop this asset as a tourist attraction'.
