Historical information

This locality diagram shows the areas covered by various goldfield maps. The Berlin field encompassed Rheola and parts of the Moliagul and Kingower goldfields. The name 'Berlin' is a corruption of Byrr Lyn, birthplace of Alexander Clelland who made an important strike in 1868.
