Summary

The history of Healesville is as rich and diverse as the people who, over the course of more then a century, have called it home. Each has its story. One cannot hope to tell them all. And so the author's aim has been to bring out the flavour of each passing era; to draw together the threads which have woven the fabric of the past and display them in their true colours as far as is ever possible in the variable light a human memory.
