Historical information
William John (Bill) Pill born 1894 Diamond Creek, son of Jessie Ann Whatmough and John Henry Pill. A modestly successful market gardener, growing tomatoes, at Cottles Bridge. He was murdered in his cottage on 21 December 1958.
