Instrument - Reed organ

Physical description

Four octave portable wood and metal reed organ. The natural keys are wooden with white covers and the accidental keys are black wood. The case contains bellows, reeds and keyboard. The top of the case is made of two hinged sections. The rear section is secured and the front section opens to reveal the keyboard and a music stand. The organ has one wooden knee control attached to the front of the case and two carrying handles on each end of the case. The bottom of the bellows are visible at the bottom of the case attached to the pedals by vertical metal rods. The front and back of the case is decorated with stenciled gold painted design of stylised floral and geometric shapes.
