Historical information
Matcham Skipper was born in New Zealand in 1921 to Lena and Mervyn Skipper. The family returned to Australia. After Mervyn met Justus Jorgensen; they moved to live at Montsalvat. Matcham married Myra Gould; he became a sculptor and jewellery maker.
