A small late nineteenth century moulded glass cake stand typical of basic domestic items after the style of more elaborate table pieces from a different social class.

Physical description

moulded or pressed glass with central stem and squared knop. The flat top section for standing cake or other delicacies decorated with hobnail pattern and fan pattern to centre.
