Historical information
May Williams was the granddaughter of Samuel Coxall who came to Buninyong in the 1860s and became a market gardener. May remembered her grandparents as a child and thus provided a link to the early days in Buninyong.
Significance
May's interview for the Oral History of Buninyong provides details of the social, agricultural and cultural history of the township and surrounding districts from the mid 19th century until the end of the 20th century.
