Significance
Demonstrates the method of identifying Inspectors.
Physical description
A set of six badges, cast and assembled, features metal nickel plate numbers within a blue enamel oval fitted with two round lugs on the rear to enable them to be clipped to a uniform item. Most have the stamp of "Stokes" stamped onto the rear. Badge numbers 162, 175, 180, 183, 198 and 221.
