Historical information

Former Presbyterian church built in 1860, with foundation stone laid by Mrs Scott, snr, the oldest resident in the district on Tuesday 27th March 1860. In 1970 the congregations of the Presbyterian and Methodist Churches combined to form the Buninyong United Church. When the Uniting Church in Australia was formed in 1977, the church became the Buninyong Uniting Church.
