Physical description
Eight-day mantle clock in an ornate carved wooden case. Plain face with Roman numerals, under glass. A glass door allows access to the weighted pendulum, and is decocrated with an etching-like transfer showing a bearded Cavalier with a sword. The clock face and pendulum is flanked by a pair of brass or gold coloured cupids, standing on turned wooden pedastels, with mirrors behind them. A carved wooden head is above the face, and another carved wooden head flanked with wings is on the base.
