This hand crocheted evening handbag from the 1920s could be easily changed to suit different outfits by attaching a new bag to the clasp.
Small circular black cotton crocheted evening handbag, with a cream plastic clasp and a plastic chain link handle. The clasp has a design of four elephants and a depiction of Buddha in the centre. Peacock blue coloured silk lining, with ruched edging.
On inside of clasp: "MADE IN FRANCE"
