Summary
A history of St John's Anglican Church in Upper Beaconsfield from the early days when the land it stands on was reserved to the planning and building of the first church in the 1920s. It includes the tragedy of the Ash Wednesday bushfire in 1983 when the church was destroyed and the planning and building of the new church. Also included are indices of vicars, wardens, vestry men and women, secretaries, organists, and other people appearing in early minute books. Covering the years 1883 to 1986.
