Physical description
Hand embroidered Christmas card with 'A Happy Christmas' embroidered on the front. Inside it holds two professionally printed address cards (8x4cms). One is for John E. Boag, HMAS 'Cerberus'. The other is for Miss Lilian Mae Clencie, 'Corio', 459 Albion Street, Brunswick West. Lillian married James Arthur Cox on 26 January 1925, so the Christmas card pre-dates that. Part of the Clencie-Cox collection.
Inscriptions & markings
Printed on the back is 'Fabrication Francaise' so it was not embroidered by Lilian. Hand written on the back is 'For Lillie'.
