This postcard is part of an album of postcards which date from late 19th century to mid 20th century. It depicts the memorial to William Chaffey in Mildura and commemorates his accomplishments in founding Mildura and Renmark. This statue was unveiled in 1929, and as the surrounding garden looks very new, the postcard can be dated 1920s-1930s
